"May we be as good, as noble, and as
deserving as our dogs think we are"

Memorials

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together....

TYLER

UCH UACH CH HI COTTON’S THUNDER V RAHDY CD OA OAJ CGC TDI

Tyler

4/7/97 – 7/12/06

Tyler was that special dog that only comes along once.  He was gentle, devoted, intelligent, comical and beautiful.  Tyler became an AKC and UKC Champion first.  He even traveled to Alaska with his sire’s breeder.  He then got his AKC CD, CGC and Therapy Dog Certificate.  He discovered Agility at age 5 and that seemed to be his favorite sport.  In three years between his illnesses and surgeries, he became an UACH with 2 legs away from his UACH-X and was working on his Excellent titles in AKC.  Ty had 50 placements in Breed and over 100 in Agility and he earned 12 titles!  He also learned to track, but the geese were always much more exciting than the track!  We were getting close, though, when his heart trouble stopped him from running.  We had many wonderful years together and lots of fun along the way.

Kara, Kara, black and white
Never did give up the fight.
You changed our lives, oh so much!
Living with this terrible crutch.
Nose to the ground,
No tracks to be found.
Chasing demons never more,
Over the bridge you did soar.

“I LIVE AMONG GOD’S CREATURES NOW”

I live among Godīs creatures now
In the heavens of your mind
So do not grieve for me, my friend
As I am with my own kind.

My collar is a rainbow hue
My leash a shooting star
My boundaries are the Milky Way
Where I sparkle from afar.

There are no pens or kennels here
For I am not confined
But free to roam Godīs heavens
Among my Canine kind.

The trees are full of liver treats
And tennis balls abound
And Milk Bones line the walking ways
Just waiting to be found.

I drink from waters laced with gold
My world a beauty to behold
And wise old dogs do form my pride
To amble at my very side.

At night I sleep in angels arms
Their wings protecting me
And moonbeams dance about us
As stardust falls on thee

So when your life on earth is spent
And you reach Heaven's gate
Have no fear of loneliness
For here, you know I wait.
